# AWS Infrastructure Is Now a Glance Away with an Interactive World Map!

Hi everyone, it's Shiichan! Today's news makes it a lot easier to get an intuitive feel for AWS's global infrastructure.

## What was announced?

According to AWS's What's New, **AWS Global View in the AWS Management Console now offers an interactive map view**, giving you a visual way to explore AWS Global Infrastructure.

## The story so far

Previously, AWS Global View only let you check AWS locations by **scrolling through a list**. As the number of regions and Local Zones grew, it got harder to get a quick sense of the overall picture.

## What changes

With this update, you can now **toggle freely between the map view and the existing list view**. Selecting the map view plots all AWS Regions and AWS Local Zones on an interactive map.

That makes it possible to visualize, at a glance, both the AWS locations you already have enabled and the full range of locations available to you, helping you make more informed infrastructure planning decisions.
