# AWS Partner Central Now Lets You Share Qualifications Across Subsidiary Accounts!

Hi everyone, I'm Shii-chan! Today I found a small but genuinely useful update for AWS partners, so let me tell you about it!

## What was announced?

According to AWS's News (AWS What's New), the "subsidiary connections" feature in AWS Partner Central now supports "qualification sharing." Partners who manage accounts for newly acquired companies or regional subsidiaries can now consolidate their AWS partnership standing across those connected accounts.

## The story so far

Until now, partners with subsidiary account connections could already consolidate revenue across connected accounts through Partner Revenue Measurement. But everything else about their AWS partnership standing — specializations, certifications, and program enrollments — stayed separate for each account.

## What changes

Partners with active subsidiary connections can now select Associate qualifications to share specializations, certifications, and select program enrollments across all connected accounts. As a result:

- A subsidiary's display name automatically updates to reflect its affiliation with the primary account
- Tier is recalculated based on combined scorecard metrics
- Partners get a unified public profile and consolidated scorecard across connected accounts

This should make things much cleaner for partners running multiple accounts, both externally and internally.

## Dive Deep

Revenue attribution through Partner Revenue Measurement (PRM) continues to work across connected accounts as before — qualification sharing is a new layer on top of that.

Here's how to get started:

- Log in to AWS Partner Central in the AWS Management Console
- Navigate to Account Connections
- Send a connection request to the accounts you own

Subsidiary account connections and qualification sharing are available today in all commercial AWS Regions, and partners can self-service the setup. For more details, check the "Managing subsidiary account connections" guide.
