# Claude Code v2.1.227: From Incorrect Max Plan Prompts to CI Bash Failures, All Fixed!

## What was announced?

This one comes from Claude Code Release — the GitHub release notes for Claude Code. Version v2.1.227 landed with a handful of bug fixes and small improvements.

## The story so far

These are the quiet-but-annoying issues that got squashed:

- If a session started with an expired login token, feature flags were evaluated without checking the user's subscription tier — which could wrongly prompt Max plan users to enable usage credits for Fable
- Every Bash command was failing under `claude-code-action` when `allowed_non_write_users` was set on GitHub-hosted runners
- `/tui` could bring back a conversation that had been rewound to before its first message
- The slash-command menu had some rough edges: the blue highlight leaked beyond the selected row, matched characters were recolored instead of bolded, and emoji or accented names lost their glyphs
- There were event-loop stalls around file-not-found suggestions and at-mention size checks

## What changes

- Max plan users won't get that confusing nudge to enable usage credits for Fable anymore
- Teams running `claude-code-action` in CI/CD can rely on Bash commands working again, even with `allowed_non_write_users` on GitHub-hosted runners
- `/tui` users no longer have to worry about a rewound conversation mysteriously coming back
- The slash-command menu looks cleaner, and emoji/accented command names render correctly
- Suggestion and mention handling feels a bit snappier, with fewer stalls
