# Cloudflare Radar can now generate citations for your papers!

Hi everyone, it's me! Today I've got a small but handy update for anyone doing research or writing.

## What was announced?

From Cloudflare's Changelog: [Radar](https://developers.cloudflare.com/radar/) shareable widgets now include a generate citation action, making it easier to reference [Cloudflare Radar](https://radar.cloudflare.com) data in research papers and other publications.

## The story so far

Until now, if you wanted to cite a Radar chart in a paper, you had to format the reference by hand to match the required style. Small, but a bit of a chore.

## What changes

Now you just click the citation icon in the widget's action bar, and you get a clean, ready-to-use citation you can drop straight into your paper or report.

## Dive Deep

Selecting the citation icon opens a modal with five supported citation styles:

- BibTeX
- APA
- MLA
- Chicago
- RIS

BibTeX is there for the LaTeX crowd, and RIS is a format that reference managers commonly read. You can try it on any shareable widget over at [Cloudflare Radar](https://radar.cloudflare.com).
