# Pages build queues now quietly skip outdated builds too!

Hi everyone, it's Shiichan! The improvement we saw on Workers Builds has now made its way to Pages too.

## What was announced?

On the Cloudflare Changelog, it was announced that Pages now automatically skips a queued build when a newer build for the same project, branch, and deployment target is also queued.

## What changes

If you push several times in a short window, an already-outdated build won't sit around filling up the queue anymore. The most recent build gets processed first, cutting down on wasted build time and getting your deploys out faster.
