# See your R2 bandwidth by Cloudflare location!

Hello, it's Shii-chan! The R2 dashboard just got a chart that breaks down bandwidth by location.

## What was announced?

Cloudflare's Changelog posted "R2 - R2 bandwidth by Cloudflare location". You can now view R2 bandwidth by the Cloudflare location that served each request, in the Cloudflare dashboard.

## What changes

You can now see which locations consume the most bandwidth.

## Dive Deep

What you can do:

- Select a specific bucket
- Switch between download (read) and upload (write) bandwidth
- By default, the chart shows the top five locations by total bandwidth in the selected time range
- Use the "Top 5 locations" dropdown to select other locations, up to six at a time

Go to the R2 overview in the dashboard to see it. More details are in the "R2 metrics and analytics" docs.

## Wrap-up

- R2 bandwidth is now shown by location
- Bucket filtering and a read/write toggle are supported
- The default is the top five locations, with up to six selectable

It's a good fit if you want to know where your R2 traffic is coming from.
