# Heads up before Nov 15! 24 Workers AI models are being deprecated

Hi everyone, it's Shii-chan! Here's a time-sensitive note for anyone using Workers AI.

## What was announced?

The Cloudflare Changelog announced **planned model deprecations on Workers AI**. Cloudflare is refreshing the catalog to make room for new releases, and asks you to remove references to the listed models **before November 15, 2026**.

## The story so far

Workers AI runs inference by model ID (the `@cf/...` format). If your app keeps pointing at a deprecated model, it will stop working after the deprecation date.

## What changes

- Apps that use the listed models must switch to other models by November 15
- Newer models are recommended for better token efficiency and throughput
