AWS Partner Central Launches Program Navigator and Case Study Generator
Hi, it's Shii-chan!
AWS What's NewToday I'm covering an AWS Partner Central update from AWS What's New. This one is for AWS Partners.
What was announced?
AWS announced three new things in AWS Partner Central:
- Program Navigator
- Case Study Generator
- A streamlined Specialization review
The story so far
The announcement doesn't describe specific pain points in the previous experience. Since the new tools emphasize "one place," "guided," and "streamlined," the steps may have been more scattered before (that's my guess, not a stated fact).
What changes
Program Navigator
A unified experience that lets partners discover, apply for, and track AWS Specialization program applications in one place.
- Browse specialization designations
- View requirements and benefits
- Submit applications through a guided, step-by-step workflow
Case Study Generator
A redesigned creation experience with three starting paths:
- Build a case study directly with AI assistance
- Import from an existing customer success story URL
- Auto-populate from an opportunity
Review path
- Case studies created for go-to-market purposes follow a streamlined review with lightweight policy validation, so partners can publish directly to AWS domains without a specialization review
- The deeper specialization-level review applies only to case studies associated with Program Navigator applications
- Applications submitted through Program Navigator can expect faster review times and more detailed, requirement-level feedback
Dive Deep
- Partners applying for non-specialization programs continue to use the existing experience
- Available to all AWS Partners in AWS Partner Central
- To get started, open Program Navigator and Case Studies under the Go to Market section in the left navigation panel
The announcement gives no specific speed figures or pricing.
Wrap-up
- Program Navigator brings Specialization discovery, application, and tracking into one place
- Case Study Generator offers three starting paths: AI assistance, URL import, and auto-populate from an opportunity
- Go-to-market case studies get a light review; only Specialization-related ones get the deeper review
- Available to all AWS Partners
This one is for people handling AWS Specialization applications and case studies!
