What was announced?

From Cloudflare's Changelog: CASB now supports the Claude Compliance API. CASB is Cloudflare's security feature that spots misconfigurations and data exposure risks across your SaaS apps.

With this integration, CASB ingests audit logs and admin actions from Claude Enterprise and Claude Platform, so you can monitor Claude usage patterns, admin activity, and compliance-relevant events all in one place.

The story so far

Rolling out Claude across an organization is handy, but the governance part, like "who uploaded which file?" or "is there anything sensitive in a public project?", used to be a manual chore. Now those risks show up as findings inside CASB, which is the whole point of this update.

What changes

Security teams no longer have to chase Claude activity one item at a time. You can scan the areas you care about right from the CASB dashboard, keeping AI governance in place while strengthening your security posture.

  • Public projects
  • Project attachments that violate DLP policies
  • Chat files that violate DLP policies (user-uploaded and provider-generated)
  • Chat messages that violate DLP policies (prompts and responses)
  • Artifacts that violate DLP policies (provider-generated documents and files)
