Workers Builds now keeps builds and build logs for 90 days

Hi everyone, it's Shii-chan! Today's news is about build history in Workers Builds!

Cloudflare Changelog developers.cloudflare.com

What was announced?

In the Cloudflare Changelog, Cloudflare announced that Workers Builds now retains each build and its build logs for 90 days after the build finishes.

What changes

Within 90 days, you can look back at why a past build failed. You can find them in two places:

  • "View build history" in your Worker's Deployments tab
  • The Workers Builds API

Dive Deep

  • After 90 days, a build and its logs are removed
  • The versions and deployments it created stay in your Worker's version history, so you can still roll back
  • If you need logs for longer, download them with the Get build logs API endpoint

See the Workers Builds limits documentation for details.

Wrap-up

  • Builds and logs are kept for 90 days after completion
  • Versions and deployments remain afterwards, so rollbacks still work
  • Download logs if you need long-term storage

If you often dig through CI logs later, keep the retention window in mind!
