Meet Zero Wire: A Cloudflare Radar Hub for Critical Internet Vulnerabilities

Hi everyone, it's Shii-chan!

Cloudflare Changelog developers.cloudflare.com

Today I'm introducing Zero Wire, a new addition to Cloudflare Radar. If you work in security, this one's worth a look!

What was announced?

According to the Cloudflare Changelog, Cloudflare Radar now includes Zero Wire, a hub for investigating critical Internet vulnerabilities and threats.

Each briefing is designed to give you three things:

  • Confirmed facts, separated from open questions
  • Remediation steps
  • What Cloudflare observes about the threat

Why it matters

When a major vulnerability appears, information gets scattered and it's hard to tell what's confirmed and what isn't. Zero Wire organizes facts and open questions separately, which should make situations easier to follow.

What changes

Security teams can sort out what needs attention now and what can be reviewed calmly in one place.

Briefings are grouped by urgency:

  • Needs attention: active incidents, new guidance, or unresolved scope that security teams should review now
  • Reference: stable briefings, kept available even if not every affected system has been patched

Each card shows the recommended action and summarizes what happened, why it matters, and what to do.

Dive Deep

Each briefing page has an update chronology and an overview, followed by these sections:

  • What to do now: remediation steps, plus a prompt you can copy into an AI agent with access to your infrastructure, asking for an evidence-based assessment of affected systems and exposure
  • Cloudflare coverage: the Cloudflare products that protect against the threat, and any impact on Cloudflare's own services
  • Evidence and sources: vendor advisories, CVE records, the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog, and Radar charts such as requests matching related WAF rules

There are several ways to follow updates:

  • Search briefings by CVE, name, or tag, or browse every briefing with a given tag
  • Subscribe to the Zero Wire RSS feed or to the feed of a single tag
  • New briefings also appear in the Caught on Radar section of the Radar homepage

Wrap-up

  • Cloudflare Radar gets Zero Wire, a hub for critical vulnerabilities and threats
  • Briefings separate confirmed facts from open questions
  • Grouped by urgency into Needs attention and Reference
  • Remediation steps, an AI agent prompt, Cloudflare coverage, and sources are all in one place
  • Search and RSS help you follow updates

If you're on a security or infrastructure team that spends time tracking vulnerabilities, this could be a handy resource!
