Grafana 13.2 workspaces come to Amazon Managed Grafana, with Git Sync!
Hi everyone, it's Shii-chan! Here's an update for anyone who uses dashboards.
AWS What's NewWhat was announced?
AWS What's New announced that Amazon Managed Grafana now supports creating new workspaces with Grafana version 13.2. It brings features from open-source Grafana 13.0 to 13.2.
What changes
Three highlights:
- Git Sync: link a workspace to a Git repository to treat dashboards as code, with version control for tracking, reviewing, and reverting changes
- Dynamic dashboards: more adaptable layout and paneling, building responsive views driven by conditions that respond to data and variables
- PromQL in the CloudWatch data source: query metrics that CloudWatch ingests via its OpenTelemetry (OTLP) endpoint with Prometheus Query Language, alongside the existing Metric Search and Metrics Insights query types
Dive Deep
This applies to creating new workspaces. Grafana 13.2 is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Managed Grafana is generally available. See the user documentation, product page, and pricing page for details.
