A 3-bullet meeting briefing every morning at 7:30! Amazon Quick's activity feed comes to mobile!

Hey, it's me! I found an Amazon Quick update that should make your phone a lot more useful for work!

AWS What's New aws.amazon.com

What was announced?

According to AWS What's New, the Amazon Quick activity feed is now available on the Amazon Quick mobile app for iOS and Android. The activity feed gives you a single, prioritized view of everything that needs your attention across your enterprise communications and tools. Existing Amazon Quick users get access to the mobile app at no additional cost.

Why it matters

Until now, keeping track of everything that needed a response meant checking each app separately, and it was easy to miss something important while away from your desk. With the activity feed, items requiring your attention rise to the top, so you're less likely to miss something time-sensitive while you're out and about. As mobile work keeps becoming the norm, this is a small but genuinely useful improvement.

What changes

Instead of switching between apps, you can now take action directly from within Quick on the items that show up in your feed. You get to decide what counts as important versus noise, and Quick learns your priorities over time so it surfaces only what really matters. On top of that, you can set up a routine to have Quick automatically post things to your feed from any connected data source — for example, you could tell Quick 'every morning at 7:30, tell me which customer meetings I have that day and give me 3 bullet points to prep.' This release also adds context retention between desktop and mobile, so a chat or an agent task you started on your desktop can be picked up right where you left off on your phone.

Dive Deep

Here's what the announcement covers:

  • Supported platforms: iOS and Android, via the Amazon Quick mobile app
  • How the feed works: items requiring attention are prioritized and surfaced at the top of the feed
  • Taking action: you can act directly from within Quick instead of switching apps
  • Learning: Quick learns which notifications matter based on your choices, so it only shows what's relevant
  • Routines: you can ask Quick to post things automatically, like 'every morning at 7:30, tell me which customer meetings I have that day and give me 3 bullet points to prep'
  • Cross-device continuity: context is retained between desktop and mobile, so you can continue a chat or agent task from where you left off
  • Pricing: included with existing Amazon Quick access at no additional cost

Wrap-up

  • The Amazon Quick activity feed is now available on iOS and Android
  • It gathers everything needing attention across your enterprise tools into one prioritized feed
  • Routines let you automate things like a daily morning briefing
  • Context syncs between desktop and mobile
  • Included at no extra cost for existing users

This is a great fit for anyone who doesn't want to miss important work while away from their desk, or who wants to automate their morning information routine!
