A guided wizard now handles RCS registration videos in AWS End User Messaging

What was announced?

In AWS What's New, AWS announced a wizard in AWS End User Messaging that orchestrates the entire video capture for your RCS agent registration.

The story so far

RCS registrations in multiple countries, including the United States, require a screen recording that demonstrates your messaging experience. To record it, you had to send a specific sequence of messages to a test device, and you scripted those messages yourself.

That easily introduced errors, and a mismatched or incomplete video became one of the hardest parts of registering for RCS.

What changes

The wizard drives each step of the capture, sending the right messages in the right order. The goal is that you record a compliant video the first time and get your agent approved sooner!
