What was announced?

AWS What's New announced availability changes for several services, in three categories.

Why it matters

Sunsets and shutdowns take time to plan and migrate for. It's worth checking your exposure while the dates are clear.

Dive Deep

Services moving to maintenance will no longer be accessible to new customers starting October 29, 2026. Existing customers can keep using them, and AWS will continue to operate and support them.

• Amazon Chime SDK SIP Media Application
• Amazon WorkSpaces Secure Browser

Services entering sunset have end-of-support dates:

• Amazon Managed Blockchain (end of support September 29, 2027)
• Amazon DevOps Guru (end of support September 30, 2027)
• AWS Backint Agent for SAP ASE (end of support September 29, 2027)
• AWS Infrastructure Composer (standalone console end of support December 7, 2026)

A service has already reached end of support:

• Amazon Mechanical Turk (no longer available as of September 29, 2026)
