What was announced?

According to AWS What's New, AWS WAF now supports two new managed rule groups from Miggo Security, available through AWS Marketplace: "Miggo Rules for AWS WAF – High Emerging Application Threats" and "Miggo Rules for AWS WAF – AI/ML Application Protection."

Why it matters

Attacks against web applications keep evolving with new techniques, and lately attacks targeting generative AI application stacks — AI agent frameworks, LLM gateways, model-serving infrastructure — have been on the rise too.
