Cloudflare One's log UI gets a refresh: filter and display your way!

What was announced?

The log views in Cloudflare One got a refresh. This update, shared on Cloudflare's Changelog, covers Access authentication logs and Gateway activity logs (DNS, Network, and HTTP). In short, the screens where you check "who signed in" and "what traffic flowed" have been redesigned.

The story so far

The old log viewer showed a long row of fields all at once, and it wasn't very flexible about filtering or customizing what you saw. With lots of entries it could get heavy, so tracking down just the rows you cared about took some effort.

What changes

The new view gives you much more control over how you filter and display logs, so you can find exactly what you need quickly and move through investigations faster.

Here are the four main things you can do now.

• Filter by field: Pick field values to add filters and narrow your results.
• Customizable fields: Choose which fields show up in the log tables. Displaying fewer fields also improves performance.
• View details: Click a timestamp to see the full details of that single log entry.
• Switch to classic view: You can go back to the previous log viewer, so folks who liked the old screen are covered.
