What was announced?

According to the Cloudflare Changelog, two improvements just landed for the RFI feature in Security Center. RFI stands for Requests for Information, the feature you use to ask Cloudflare's threat intelligence team for extra research. Here's what changed around RFI history.

  • You can now export your RFI history as a CSV document
  • You can now adjust how many RFI records load per page on the dashboard

This is available for Cloudforce One subscribers, and you'll find it in the Cloudflare Dashboard under Application Security > Threat Intelligence > Requests for Information.

The story so far

The original post doesn't spell out the old behavior in detail, but it frames the update around two pain points: data portability and dashboard performance. In other words, teams handling a lot of RFIs likely had trouble taking their history data outside the dashboard, and paging through a long history wasn't as smooth as it could be.

What changes
