The Cloudflare One Client for Windows gets a fresh new UI!

Hey everyone, it is Shii-chan! Today I have a nice little update for all of you running Cloudflare on Windows.

What was announced?

Over on the Cloudflare Changelog, a new Windows build of the Cloudflare One Client landed: version 2026.4.1350.0. The headline is a fully redesigned Windows client UI with a cleaner, more intuitive layout.

The story so far

The previous Windows client did its job, but the interface felt a little plain. Reaching common actions could take a few extra clicks, and captive portal logins (those sign-in pages on public Wi-Fi) were sometimes fiddly.

What changes

With the new UI, you can right-click the tray icon to jump straight to the actions you use most. The captive portal login experience is now built into the client, so coffee-shop and airport Wi-Fi should feel smoother. If you launch WARP every day, that is a welcome change!

Dive Deep

There is a treat for admins too: a new warp-cli mdm refresh command lets you refresh your Mobile Device Management configuration on the spot, instead of waiting for it to propagate.

The changelog is also honest about a few rough edges. Split tunnel settings are not exposed in the new UI yet, so you manage them from the CLI with warp-cli tunnel commands. There are other known issues too: registration can hang at "Checking your organization configuration" (a reboot fixes it), and DNS resolution can break under certain conditions in Secure Web Gateway mode, so it is worth reading them before you roll it out.
