Cloudflare One Client for Windows Gets a Fresh New UI!

Hi everyone, it's me, Shii-chan! Today I've got a nice update for everyone connecting to Cloudflare One on Windows.

What was announced?

Over on Cloudflare's Changelog, the Cloudflare One Client for Windows shipped as version 2026.4.1390.0. The headline is a full UI redesign - a cleaner, more intuitive look.

There's more, too:

  • A right-click context menu so you can reach common actions quickly
  • A built-in captive portal login experience

The story so far

The Windows client had all the features you needed, but the interface was starting to feel dated, and captive portal logins often leaned on an external browser. This release tidies up the look and feel together so people who connect every day have a smoother time.

What changes

If you connect to Cloudflare One daily, you'll feel the difference. You can right-click the tray icon to act, and those Wi-Fi login pages you hit at cafes and airports now work right inside the client. Admins get a small quality-of-life boost too.

Dive Deep

For admins, there's a new CLI command. When you want your Mobile Device Management (MDM) configuration to apply right away, run:

warp-cli mdm refresh

and it pulls the config on the spot. A proxy-mode connection stall bug was also fixed.

That said, a few known issues remain, so it's worth a look before you roll it out. For example:

  • WebView2 browser authentication isn't available yet, so it falls back to your default browser
  • Registration can hang at "Checking your organization configuration" (a reboot resolves it)
  • The split tunnel list can't be configured from the new UI, so manage it via the CLI for now
  • Windows ARM installs may prompt you to close the app
