Hi everyone, it's Shii-chan! There's a nice update for Cloudflare's MCP server.

What was announced?

Cloudflare's Changelog (Agents category) announced that the Cloudflare API MCP server now serves Cloudflare skills through the Skills over MCP extension.

Why it matters

When skills are delivered over MCP, clients can discover and read them from the server without installing skills separately. That should make it easier to work with Cloudflare from AI agents.

What changes

MCP clients that support the Skills over MCP extension can discover Cloudflare's skills and read their files.

  • Clients discover skills with skills/list
  • Each skill's files are read using a URI of this form:
skill://{name}/{path}

To use it, add this server URL to an MCP client that supports the extension:

https://mcp.cloudflare.com/mcp
