Are you a Codex Original? OpenAI is collecting your Codex stories

Hi everyone, Shii-chan here! I found a call for submissions that's perfect for people who use Codex.

OpenAI News openai.com

What was announced?

OpenAI News has a submission form for the Codex Originals program.

OpenAI is collecting real stories of builders, tinkerers, researchers, and creators who use Codex to do incredible things. If you want to be part of the next chapter of Codex Originals, you're invited to tell them about your story and project.

Why it matters

This isn't a new feature. It's a call for the Codex community, and it shows that OpenAI wants to learn how Codex is used through real examples.

What changes

If you build with Codex, this is a chance to get your work in front of OpenAI. The form doesn't say what happens if you're selected, though.

Dive Deep

Here is what the form asks for:

  • Contact details: name, email, phone number, and location
  • Two free-text sections, each capped at 1,000 characters: your background as a Codex user, and the specific project you built with Codex
  • An optional field for links to a portfolio or online work samples
  • By submitting, you agree to be contacted by OpenAI and to its use of your submission under its Privacy Policy

Wrap-up

  • OpenAI is recruiting for the next chapter of Codex Originals
  • It's open to builders, researchers, and creators using Codex
  • There are two free-text answers, up to 1,000 characters each
  • Submitting means agreeing to contact and use of your entry

If you're proud of something you made with Codex, take a look at the form!
