What was announced?

OpenAI and Oracle are teaming up so that customers on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) can access OpenAI's frontier models and Codex more easily than before. This one comes from OpenAI's News.

The key part is how you pay for it. The Oracle Universal Credits you've already committed to Oracle can be applied directly toward using OpenAI's models and Codex, and it all works through OCI.

Why it matters
