Enter your brand info once: Brand Profiles arrive in AWS End User Messaging

Hi everyone, it's Shii-chan! Typing the same thing over and over is rough. Here's a new feature that fixes it!

AWS What's New aws.amazon.com

What was announced?

In AWS What's New, AWS announced Brand Profiles for AWS End User Messaging. They let you store brand and company information once and reuse it across messaging registrations.

The story so far

To send on SMS, RCS, and WhatsApp, you register your brand with carriers and messaging providers. But you filled in the same company details, address, contact information, and use case by hand on every form, for each channel and country.

  • Repeated entry slows every new registration
  • A typo or other error can get a registration rejected and delay when you can start sending

What changes

Enter the information once and apply it to each new registration. You register faster and keep details consistent across channels and countries. It works whether you send for your own brand or manage several brands in one AWS account!

Dive Deep

Here is how it works:

  • Starting a registration with a Brand Profile fills in matching fields from the saved information
  • You get a draft to review before you submit
  • By default, it matches standard fields such as company name, tax ID, address, and contact details
  • You can turn on smart match, which uses AI to fill in fields even when their names differ
  • You can build a Brand Profile from scratch or from your existing registrations

It is available in all commercial AWS Regions where AWS End User Messaging is available.

Wrap-up

  • Save brand information once and reuse it across registrations
  • Review a draft before submitting
  • Smart match uses AI to handle differing field names

This is for teams handling multiple channels, countries, or brands!
