AWS Partner Central and Marketplace Finally Come Together for Co-Selling!

Hey everyone, it's Shiichan! Today I found a nice little update for AWS partners, so let me walk you through it.

AWS What's New aws.amazon.com

What was announced?

According to AWS's What's New, AWS Partner Central now lets you link your AWS Marketplace listings (solutions and products) directly to co-selling opportunities. It was announced on July 1, 2026.

When you create or edit an opportunity, you can now choose from "Marketplace solutions and products", "solutions only", "products only", or "Other".

The story so far

Until now, partners had to keep separate listings: one set for the Marketplace and another for co-selling. Even for the same product, that meant maintaining things twice, which was a bit of a hassle.

What changes

A single opportunity can now include up to 10 AWS Marketplace Solutions and up to 10 AWS Marketplace Products. It can even include listings from subsidiary accounts that have an established connection. No more double bookkeeping, so building an opportunity gets a lot tidier.
