What was announced?

According to AWS What's New, AWS Marketplace now offers self-service seller signature management for India-based sellers. Sellers in India are required to provide a valid signature for tax invoicing and regulatory compliance, and now they can upload and manage that signature directly through AWS Partner Central. This also consolidates GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) registration status into the same view.

The story so far

Before this launch, submitting a seller signature was a manual, email-based process. GSTIN registration status and signature management were also handled separately, which made it harder for sellers to get a clear picture of where they stood.

What changes

• Signature submission and updates now happen entirely inside the AWS Partner Central console, with no more email-based submission
• GSTIN registration status and signature verification status are consolidated in one place, making it easier to spot anything that needs attention
• Uploaded signatures are securely stored by AWS Marketplace and used to generate buyer tax invoices for transactions in India
