Custom Dashboards Open to Everyone: 100+ Datasets in One View!
Hey there, it's me, Shiichan! Today I found an update that's great news for anyone who wants to line up only the numbers they care about.
Cloudflare ChangelogWhat was announced?
Cloudflare's Changelog announced that Custom Dashboards are now available to all Cloudflare customers. The related products are Analytics and Log Explorer.
Going beyond the standard per-product dashboards, you can now build your own personalized views that highlight the metrics most critical to your infrastructure and security posture.
The story so far
Until now, you mostly looked at the fixed dashboards each product provided. But the numbers you really want to watch often span across products. This update greatly expands the range of data you can visualize.
What changes
The tastiest part is that you can consolidate signals from different Cloudflare products into a single view. For example, you can look at HTTP Traffic and R2 Storage side by side.
On top of that, you can build charts that focus only on the axes that matter to your business, like specific status codes, ASN regions, or security actions. Your scattered monitoring screens get tidied up into one clean board.
Dive Deep
Here are the concrete details I could gather.
- Data sources: You can chart any of the 100+ datasets available via the Cloudflare GraphQL API, covering everything from WAF events and Workers metrics to Load Balancing and Zero Trust logs.
- Log Explorer integration: If you use Log Explorer, you can turn raw log queries directly into dashboard charts. When you spot a spike or pattern while investigating logs, save that query as a visualization to monitor it in real time without leaving the dashboard.
- Limits: Standard customers get up to 25 dashboards. Log Explorer customers can create up to 100 dashboards.

This is a perfect fit for anyone who wants to monitor across multiple Cloudflare products, or grow a log-investigation insight into a permanent monitoring view!
