The Linux Cloudflare One Client hits GA with a redesigned UI!
Hey there, it's Shiichan! Today I found some good news for Linux users. The Linux build of the Cloudflare One Client just reached general availability with a fresh new version.
Cloudflare ChangelogWhat was announced?
This one comes from the Cloudflare One Client changelog. Version 2026.4.1390.0 of the Linux client is now GA. The headline is a redesigned Linux UI — cleaner and more intuitive, with a right-click context menu so you can reach common actions quickly.
There's more: a built-in captive portal login experience, a new warp-cli mdm refresh command to pull MDM configuration right away, and official RHEL 9 support for Cloudflare Mesh nodes (the EPEL repository is required).
The story so far
Up to now, the Linux client worked fine, but its UI felt plainer than the Windows and macOS builds, and you often reached for the command line to check or change settings. This refresh brings the experience much closer together.
What changes
The nicest part is that more can be done straight from the GUI, so Linux feels friendlier to use. The right-click menu puts common actions within reach, and captive portal login is now handled by the client itself. If your company manages devices with MDM, running warp-cli mdm refresh pulls in configuration changes immediately, so there's less waiting around.
There's a bug fix too: a proxy mode connection stall has been resolved.
Dive Deep
Keep an eye on the known issues. Registration can hang at "Checking your organization configuration" when an IPC error occurs, and a system reboot is recommended in that case. Also, the split tunnel list can't be configured in the new UI yet, so manage it with the warp-cli tunnel ip and warp-cli tunnel host commands.
To install or update, head to the stable releases downloads page. The version number is 2026.4.1390.0.
