Cloudflare Radar's long-range charts just got up to 7x more detailed!

What was announced?
Over on Cloudflare's Changelog, they announced that Cloudflare Radar's traffic charts now show finer detail when you look at longer time ranges. This applies to the HTTP and NetFlows traffic charts.
The story so far
Until now, picking a longer time range meant each data point covered a wider span, so the charts looked pretty coarse. A few weeks to a few months rolled up into weekly buckets, and six months or more rolled up into monthly buckets, which made small peaks and dips hard to spot.
What changes
Now the same time range packs in a lot more data points, so you can see the detail. Views of 1-3 months move from weekly to daily aggregation, which is 7x more points. Views of 6 months or more move from monthly to weekly, for 4x more points.
Dive Deep
As a concrete example, a 12-week view that used to be weekly now shows daily data. For a year of HTTP traffic, you now get 52 weekly points instead of 12 monthly ones. You can see it live on Cloudflare Radar. Just bumping up the granularity makes sudden spikes and subtle trends much easier to read.
