What was announced?

According to Cloudflare's Changelog, version 2026.7.1343.0 of the Cloudflare One Client for macOS is now generally available (GA) on the stable releases downloads page, bringing beta features into the stable release alongside the Linux and Windows versions.

The story so far

Unclear reauthentication guidance and slow connections on networks without HTTP/3 support were shared pain points across platforms. On macOS specifically, there was also a rather annoying crash that could happen when trying to connect through a Wi-Fi captive portal.

What changes

Reauthentication now redirects you to your browser for a smoother path back to work, and HTTP/2-first fallback speeds up connections on networks that don't support HTTP/3.

As a macOS-specific fix, the crash that used to occur when connecting to a Wi-Fi captive portal — the kind you run into at cafes and airports — is now resolved. Great news if you use Cloudflare One Client while on the go!
