Basin Pipelines Ingest Limit Jumps From 5 MB/s to 1 GB/s
Hi, Shii-chan here! I found an update today with a really big number!
Cloudflare ChangelogWhat was announced?
The Cloudflare Changelog announced a higher per-stream ingest limit for Basin Pipelines.
The story so far
The old limit was 5 MB/s per stream. To send a lot of events, you had to split ingestion across several streams just to stay under it.
What changes
The new limit is 1 GB/s per stream. That's a big step up from 5 MB/s! High-volume application events, telemetry, and logs now have more room to grow without splitting across streams.
Dive Deep
The post only describes the limit change. For the full list of stream, sink, and pipeline limits, it points to the Basin Pipelines limits page.
Wrap-up
- The per-stream ingest limit in Basin Pipelines goes from 5 MB/s to 1 GB/s
- You no longer need to split streams only to fit under the limit
Great news if you push a lot of logs or telemetry!
