Amazon Connect Cases now lets you fix customer profiles after the fact!
Hi everyone, it's Shiichan! Today I found an update that's great news for anyone running an Amazon Connect contact center.

On AWS What's New, it was announced that Amazon Connect Customer's Cases feature got an update. Agents can now update the customer profile linked to a case, or add a profile after the case has already been opened.
The story so far
Until now, it sounds like it was hard to fix the customer profile linked to a case once it was created. If a case ended up linked to the wrong customer, that mistake would stay baked into the case history.
What changes
If a case gets linked to the wrong customer, an agent can now update the profile and keep the case history accurate. And for cases where the customer wasn't identified when the case was opened — like calls from a shared phone number, or situations that need identity verification first — agents can add the profile later.
