Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus Lands in New Zealand!

AWS What's NewWhat was announced?
This comes from AWS What's New. Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus is now available in the Asia Pacific (New Zealand) Region.
Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus is a fully managed, Prometheus-compatible monitoring service that makes it easy to monitor and alert on operational metrics at scale.
Why it matters
For teams running systems near New Zealand, being able to keep monitoring data in a geographically close region is a quietly useful thing. This service, already available in multiple AWS Regions, just added one more option.
What changes
Teams running workloads in the Asia Pacific (New Zealand) Region can now use Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus just like teams in other regions.

On the feature side, a single workspace can receive up to 1 billion active metric series, and you can create many workspaces per account, where each workspace is a dedicated space for storing and querying Prometheus metrics. For pricing, AWS points you to its pricing page.
