Amazon Connect Global Resiliency Gets a Readiness Page: Check Region Switch Prep at a Glance!
Hi everyone, it's Shii-chan! Today's Amazon Connect update makes it easier to check your readiness for the worst.
AWS What's NewWhat was announced?
In AWS What's New, Amazon Connect Customer Global Resiliency announced a new Global Resiliency page in the admin website. It gives administrators a single place to review their Region switch readiness.
What changes
The page shows an overall readiness status and lists the resources that Global Resiliency natively replicates. Each resource type has one of these states:
- In sync
- Pending synchronization
- Needs action
For example, if a phone number or user is not associated with a traffic distribution group, the page flags it. You can then associate the affected resources directly from the page.
Dive Deep
Administrators can review their resiliency posture at any time and verify that their instance is ready for a Region switch.
It's available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Connect Customer Global Resiliency is supported. See the Amazon Connect Customer admin guide for details.
Wrap-up
- A new Global Resiliency page in the admin website
- See overall status and sync state per resource type
- Fix unassociated resources right from the page
This is for admins responsible for contact center availability!
