Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion has finally landed in GovCloud!

What was announced?
According to AWS's What's New, Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion is now available in AWS GovCloud (US-East) and AWS GovCloud (US-West). It's a service for ingesting data into Amazon OpenSearch Service managed clusters or serverless collections.
Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion is a fully managed, no-code data ingestion tier that lets you filter, transform, redact, and route data before it's indexed in OpenSearch Service. It also automatically provisions and scales the underlying resources to match your workload's demands.
The story so far
Until now, Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion wasn't available in GovCloud regions. Government agencies and customers in heavily regulated industries who wanted to use its no-code data ingestion while meeting compliance requirements didn't have that option in GovCloud environments.
What changes
With this launch, GovCloud customers can now use Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion's no-code filtering, transforming, redacting, and routing capabilities just like everyone else. That brings the total number of regions where Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion is available to 19:
- US: Ohio, N. Virginia, Oregon, N. California
- Europe: Ireland, London, Frankfurt, Spain, Paris, Stockholm
- Asia Pacific: Tokyo, Sydney, Singapore, Mumbai, Seoul
- Others: Canada (Central), South America (Sao Paulo), GovCloud (US-East), GovCloud (US-West)
